As Scotland’s largest indoor & outdoor venue, the Royal Highland Centre plays host to over 220 events annually.

Attracting over one million visitors each year, the Royal Highland Centre offers versatility for event owners, with over 18,000m² covered exhibition space, a substantial outdoor area including 110-acres of parkland, main arena, track area, countryside area and parking for 20,000 vehicles.

HOW TO GET HERE

The Royal Highland Centre is on the west side of Edinburgh, located next to Edinburgh Airport, within minutes of the M8 and M9 and in easy reach of the city centre.

Royal Highland Centre sits off Glasgow Road (A8) between Newbridge roundabout and the A8/airport roundabout, one of the main routes into the city.

 

Whether travelling by car, bus, air or rail, the Royal Highland Centre is easily accessible.

By Car

The Royal Highland Centre sits off Glasgow Road (A8) between Newbridge roundabout and the A8/Airport roundabout, one of the main routes into the city. Access to the Royal Highland Centre is from A8/Airport roundabout on to Eastfield Road. From there, signposts provide directions to the venue along Fairview Road onto Ingliston Road.

By Bus

From Edinburgh, Lothian Buses run regular services including the 48, 35 and the Airport Express (100). All buses run regularly and drop-off close to the Centre itself. Call 0131 555 6363 for further information. The Stagecoach Jet747 bus service from Fife will drop visitors off outside the Royal Highland Centre. Citylink also operate services with drop-offs on the A8 close to the Royal Highland Centre.

By Train

Haymarket is the nearest train station with excellent train links across the UK. For more information contact National Rail on 08457 48 49 50 or visit their website. Lothian Buses run regular services stopping outside Haymarket Station and dropping off adjacent to the Centre. Call Lothian Buses on  0131 555 6363 for more information. Or, why not hop in a taxi? Taxis are plentiful outside Haymarket station and there is a transfer time of around 15/20 minutes to the Royal Highland Centre.
